There are several way to this spot, each include about 25 miles of hiking, one-way. I would recommend taking the Toats-Coulee Road out of Loomis (near Tonasket) and parking at the Iron Gate Trail head, and hiking along the Boundary Trail. The elevation gain is minimal and the views terrific. This area, near Amphitheater Mountain and Cathedral Peak is one of my favorite places in the Pasayten Wilderness.
I love the shift of colors from green conifers to gold deciduous and up to the gray rocks and blue sky. What is the approach like to this area?

Thanks for the info. I might have to get up there next summer.
