The Enchantments are a small series of peaks and lakes in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness, near Leavenworth, Washington. Here are a few images from last weekends encounter with mountain goats while hiking!

Beautiful shots in an amazing area. The mountains are fantastic, steep and jagged just like true mountains should be and the goats add to the scale of the scenery.
Yes, its really a spectacular place, and the orange larch add the perfect punctuation to the whole scene. I have to finish processing and will post one comprehensive start to finish trip report.
