My never ending search for fine, scenic viewpoints from which to capture images led me to the Samish Overlook.
Arriving before sunrise the moon was still visible.
Clouds filled the valley and the mountain on the horizon was clear.

These are so beautiful, Andy.
Hi Tiffany! Thank you!
Today we are having a snow “storm”. Maybe 2 or 3 inches. Hopefully it will be gone soon!
Can you throw some my way? 😉
What’s the temp today in Yuma?
I think we hit 82/83. We just came out of a week of hitting near 90 degree temps. Awful! That’s why I’m coveting your snow. Not quite ready for the heat yet.
Wow…I am SO missing the warm…am planning a trip to Utah in April, hope it’s hot! Here snow is all about elevation. Down here in the valley we dont often get snow, maybe once or twice a year. Up at Mount Baker (90 min. drive) they get 30 feet a year!
Beautiful photos – the last one is especially surreal.
Yes, the more the sun rose and the fog burned off the more surreal it all looked. We’ve had lousy weather since I was there, i can’t wait to get back there for another sunrise!
At first glance, the clouds looked like snow. Absolutely amazing.
Yes! It looked surreal when I was there…I was using a slow shutter speed, so the clouds lost detail…next time I hope to remedy that oversight!
Great pics, love sunrises and sunsets. No place to get a good view from an elevation around here.
Thank you! Where in the world are you?
Reblogged this on Ihda Ciptaditama.
Wow, what a beautiful location to watch the sunrise! Its amazing how quickly the colors change. Very nicely done! Look forward to seeing more in the future.
Amazing and Thank you so much for sharing 🙂
