Cool! I will keep going!
Your images are stunning!!!!!!
Beautiful images!
Prachtige foto’s, wat een mooie natuur.
Thanks, Leo!
WOW. I wish I have a chance to visit these places at least once in my life. I loved the Stars at the Diablo Overlook, amazing work!
Thank you! Where abouts do you live? Capturing star images has become a real passion for me!
I live in the Middle East sir. It is very rare to see such beauty where I live, but one must appreciate beauty even if they are deprived of it. I love your work ๐
Well I would imagine that in the desert you can get some very stunning milky way images…have you ever been out to try capturing them?
Not yet, but you sure inspired me.
Great photos. ๐
Do you give lessons? Maybe a “pay per blog”? ๐
I have been asked several times about on-line classes…and have done a few. To start out, what sort of camera do you have? Lenses? When you take pictures, do you shoot in full auto, one of the creative modes, or manual? And lastly, what sort of subjects do you generally like to shoot?
Thanks foe the reply! I have a small Canon, but am looking to upgrade. Maybe. T3i or a better. I have a list of three lenses that I will likely get when I do so. When I shoot pictures I like to fiddle! Usually I will use auto, but I like yo change modes abd get crazy. Scenery and macor is what I shoot mostly. My mom has a high end Canon and ine summer while our families were camping I saw a shot. I crawled ony stomach across the road and began taking macro shots of a little “flock” of butterflies that had stopped for a sip in a mus puddle. I was able to slither right up to them and got some AWESOME pictures! Later, my tech-challenged mom deleted them!
Everyone laughs at me (good humored), but i love it. Raising a family right now and am trying to justtify and afford such a purchase.
The butterfly pictures that got away…how funny! Yes, money is always such a sticking point…
I started with a Canon xti, or some version of that series, and always had one lens…after several years of practice and getting better I finally got a better rig and have more than one lens, just this year.
I would say look on Craigs list for someone who upgraded their canon and wants to dump their t3i, or what ever and get it and get started. If you took the last 4 models of the Canon xt…or T3…something…line, there is not a big difference, I sometimes see these bodies with a lens for 3 to 400 $ maybe even less.
Once you figure out how to get a dslr let me know and I can start with advice and assignments.
Where abouts do you live?
AWESOME! Great advice! I live in Idaho, but am currently traveling with work. I’ll let you know.
So beautifull ๐
Cool!!
magnific
Thank you, Irina!
Great series Andy – you have created a niche for yourself that clearly invigorates you and makes me immensely jealous. Well done. I am definitely going to bite the bullet at some stage and come to your part of the world and do a walk with you in your beautiful wilderness. This looks to me to be the most stunning of the locations that you visited this year: “Glacier Peak Wilderness”
Hey! You are most welcome to come for a walk! yes, Glacier Peak and the Enchantments are two of the real jewels in the North Cascades. Did the calendar arrive in Australia yet?
