Hi Laura, Happy New Year!
I have a new Rokinon 14mm lens. Its a manual lens, I have to set the aperture and focus on the lens manually. It costs about $300, new. Which is awesome! I got it primarily for nighttime shots, but now use it regularly when doing landscapes.
Wow thats amazing. I just googled it. My husband bought me the 14-24 nikon but im now wondering if i should return it and get the 24-70 because i just moved to full frame and would like an every day lens. Maybe this 14mm rokinon would be a good wide angle for me. Thank you for this info. And Happy New Year!
Absolutely breathtaking! I can’t wait for the opportunity to visit Palouse Falls myself, and dream that I can photographic it as eloquently as you have.
Thanks for the tip! Your photos inspire me to try out night photography as well. This can be difficult in the PNW, as I’m sure you are aware, with the rainy season seeming to last forever.
Reblogged this on The View Through My Lens.
Incredibly beautiful!
May i ask what lens you used?

Check the lunar calendar and go on the New Moon (or close to it) and hope for clouds at sunset and clear skies at midnight!
